There are many different traditional and non-traditional ways to measure your penis size, but many of them are not reliable. Here at BostonPump.com, we have selected a couple of alternatives that have been recommended and have been in use for many years. Bear in mind that the sizing is mainly to determine the diameter or girth of your penis. Finding the length is a very straight forward task.

 Do’s and Don’ts of penis pump measurement:

Do’s:

1. Employ a soft ruler such as those in your doctor’s office or tailor’s tape measure. Paper rulers are OK! Just watch out for those nasty paper-cuts.

2. Get fully erected when measuring your penis size.

3. Take the measurement at the bulkiest part of your penis. It is different for each person.

4. All measurements must be made at the widest part when you are 100% erected.

5. Take more than one measurement and take the average of all sizes.

6. Take your measurement during different times of day.

7. Use more than one method to measure. The average size for each method should fall within the same range for all methods.

Don’ts:

Never use construction tape or metal tape to measure, they can cause serious injury!

Don’t rely on one single measurement.

Method 1, Paper cup method (especially good for those with the shorter penis size):

Simply use a coffee mug or any coffee cup or soda cup. Insert your penis inside the cup until the head reach the bottom of the cup (FIGURE ONE).  Measure and see how much room you have left from side to side, measure the diameter of the cup’s opening. The diameter of the cup being used and the amount of the room on each side of the penis, should give you a good idea about the actual size of penis suction cylinder that you need. Please note that it is important to complement this method with the other 2 alternatives for more accurate result.

When using this method, please do not cut the end of cup, it can seriously hurt you. Depending upon how big or small the size of your penis is, you may want to adjust the size of your cup. From 8oz. cup size for very small sizes up to 24 or 32oz. cup for larger starter sizes.

Method 2, Cross measuring technique:

Using a safe measuring tape such as the one described above, lay the tape flat under the widest part of your penis in a cross fashion as shown (FIGURE TWO). Then read the 2 numbers on each opposite side of your penis. For example, if the left side of the tape measure reads 1.5” inches and the right side reads 2.75”. Subtract the 2 numbers and there it is your penis size. In this example, your penis size will be 2.75”-1.5”=1.25”

Method 3, Circumference technique:

This technique is commonly used to measure up for a pants size or hat or any gourmet clothing. In this method you simply use a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of you penis (FIGURE THREE).

Add your request amount as described under The General Rules to your raw measurement. Compare your measurement to the chart below to find out what is the closest size cylinder that you may need.
